Privacy Policy
Best Life Fit Me (https://bestlifefitme.com) helps you compare US places against how you want to live. We built it to work without collecting personal information. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it.
Your quiz answers stay on your device
We don't ask for your name, email or location, and there are no accounts. Your answers, housing budget and preferences are saved only in your own browser (its "local storage"), so they're still there when you come back. They are never sent to us or anyone else: all matching is calculated in your browser.
To delete them, use Start over on the results page, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. If you use Save, the file is downloaded to your device and nowhere else.
Advertising
We show ads to keep the site free. Ads are provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure them and limit fraud. This can include ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- You can turn off personalised ads in Google's My Ad Center, or opt out of many third-party vendors at aboutads.info (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any advertising cookies are set, you'll see a consent message from a Google-certified consent platform. You can accept, refuse or choose, and change your mind later through the message's settings link.
- US state privacy laws (such as California's CCPA/CPRA): we don't sell personal information for money. Where ad personalisation may count as "sharing", you can opt out via the controls above or the privacy message Google shows in applicable states.
Hosting and technical data
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and may keep it in short-lived logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
We don't use analytics or tracking tools of our own.
Children
Best Life Fit Me isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or state laws in the US), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Because we don't hold personal data about you, most requests are handled by clearing your browser data or using the advertising controls above. For anything else, contact us below.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and its effective date.
